Sacred Spaces

There is a palpable element of faith and spirituality felt in the eloquent stained glass wall of sun and spirit that graces the front sanctuary wall of the 19th floor chapel at the Clare. The chapel also includes an altar, ambo, tabernacle, processional cross and holy water font and ambry. The Altar incorporates a reliquary containing relics of St. Francis,and St. Clare, for whom the chapel is dedicated.

There are three chapels available throughout the community. Regular services are held in the Chapel on the 19th floor, which functions as a community church. Additionally other sacraments and services are held during the year by request and everyone is welcome to attend any of the community services.

The spiritual component of The Clare embraces and values all Christian traditions, while celebrating our essential unity in Christ. In a world of many differences, we value being together to celebrate our essential unity in Christ, and to cooperate in a common mission.
